Themes and Ideas I am working on currently (subject to change)....

Heres a video I was intrigued to use along with ideas such as the gnomes from the previous post (a little cliche'd maybe but im working on it!) I think I have to come to some sort of conclusion about the themes that I will be working with or at least considering for some of the garden space work, ok here we go, there are alot of them but shall be refining them in time. Thoughts and comments much appreciated from anyone to help me sort out my random scribblings in my sketch books and turn them into solid proposals, email me at Joe_Etch@hotmail.com

Themes and Ideas:

Repetition/Globalisation/ Industrialism

Human Intervention/ Organisation through heirachal power theories

Nature Vs. Man-made

Out of Place and Unfamiliar objects in relation to enviroments and contexts

Cheers
Jetch

Just a little bit of inspiration to me....

While surfing the world wide web I came across this and thought it strangely appropriate for the garden space, I may be producing something much to similar effect....or maybe not. nonetheless enjoy this image....
Heres the article and the artists name is Ottmar Hoerl for future reference.
Much love Jetch

Idea For Pod

I'm thinking to have these tree like ruins cast in cement and hopefully have the whole floor grey.  There will be some greenery growing on the ruins and will be shown along with the sound of urban winds.  I think it would be a nice contrast to some bright and lively work.  Comments welcome or you can email me. Shanty town art installation

The work of artist Charlie Stiven.

Intricate details and simple installation. I thought maybe relevant as they look a little like garden sheds...
Also taking over a pod with lots of little components could be an interesting means of installation, like walking through an odd miniature street.

A few artists and stuff ....

How about stacking random garden related objects to cover a wall space? Vintage is good!

I really like this chaotic feel, for the entrance area perhaps? Also for the 'top of the mountain'/end of trip through the rabbit warren of pods area....
